Installing and Configuring Teamspeak

System Requirements:
Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP
Pentium 166 MHZ CPU
64 MegaBytes of RAM
6 MegaBytes of harddisk space
DirectX 8.1 (available at http://www.microsoft.com/directx)
An Internet connection or LAN
A full-duplex soundcard
A microphone (if you want to be able to talk, not just
listen)
1. You can download Teamspeak
software directly from Teamspeak with this <link>
Or you can get the software from direct from the Teampeak website
http://goteamspeak.com
Click the “Downloads” link on the left hand side…
Click the “Download Now” link under the “Teamspeak 2 Win32 Client (RC2)
NOTE: YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE CLIENT NOT THE SERVER
2. After you click the provided link or click the correct
“Download Now” from the Teamspeak site, the following
message will appear…
3. Click “Run”
3(b). Depending on
your version of Windows / Internet Explorer you MAY see the following Message:
Click “Run”
4. Click “Yes”
5. Click “Next”
6. Select “I accept the Agreement”
Click “Next”
7. Click “Next”
8. Click “Next”
9. Click “Next”
10. Click “Install”
11. Click “Next”
12. Select “Next”
13. Select “Finish”
14. Select “Next”
15. Select “Finish”
This Completes the Teamspeak Client Installation..
Configuring Teamspeak
1. Launch the Teamspeak
Application
2. Select “Settings” then “Options”
3. (Optional) Increase audio quality…
Click “Apply”
4. (Optional) Allows others to see
your name when connected.
In the “Default guest nickname:” textbox enter your
character’s name.
<ex. My
character’s name is “Raindrop” shown above>
5. Exit Teamspeak
and restart Teamspeak to save the new settings.
